New year 2015 and one move!!
Well July 28th, 2014 Myself and my family made a move back to my childhood home in Michigan from Arkansas. I have lived in Arkansas for 12 years and that is long enough. I was able to bring our chickens and ducks with us and that was great. This is the new years of 2015 and hopefully a great one. New year, new location, hopefully new opportunities.

Milk goat, and Turkeys
Our new milking goat Baby. We decided to sell Molly and get this one because this one had babies she actually had triples and is milking really well. Also thank god she is very patient because I have never milked any thing before and while I learned on her she was very patient. She stomped her foot on the other side every time I did something wrong but she didn't kick me or step on me or bite me and I don't even have to use a milk stand.
Also I wanted to share some pictures of our new Turkeys there are 25 of them.

Clean, fixed, and Growing
Okay the incubator is cleaned and fixed and working better now. There are a few more things I could have done different to make it better but it will work for now. I am fixing to set some more eggs, not sure yet or not.
We have a batch of 4-H Sunflowers growing already. We also have some Sunflower seeds growing that have more then 1 flower bud on them. I know this I saw them last years and the lady gave me the heads so i got the seeds. We also have Okra and Cauliflower, and broccoli growing, fixing to start tomato.

Broody Hen first time
Well it isn't the first time we had a broody hen but it is the first time I have let one set on eggs. I was actually taking someones advice and it did not work at all. I was told to move the hen to a cage and keep eggs and touch them for about 2 days and then put them in there with her and she would not set. So I did needless to say she sat. I did put her in a cage for a week to cool down her belly but it did not seem to be doing anything. Now she has 12 eggs she cracked one so I took it and she went to 11 eggs and the other day when I went to candle the eggs she had 12 eggs so she laid and egg after setting for 2 days and not laying an egg in a month. I put food and water in there with her. She gets up to eat and drink and release herself but she goes right back to the nest. She is due to have chicks on Valentines day.
This is her the very first day
This is her on February 3, 2013
Only 10 more days to go.

Molly is home
Here is Molly from back in January of 2012
I promise Molly is bigger then she looks in this picture her sides aren't like that. I can't seem to get a good picture of her ever. She was dropped off at our 4-H leaders farm to get breed 2 and a half months ago and we both lost track of time and I went and got her today and she was twice the size she was when I dropped her off. after we talked and figured out how long she had been there she would have had 2 heats depending on if she took the first time or not. If she took in November she is due in April, if she didn't take until December she is due May. He said there is no reason she shouldn't have breed and he said we should be getting calico babies, which would be cool because his female that looks like this had calico's and boy oh boy are they eye catching. I am excited to see the babies if she is pregnant, I also can't wait for the milk. Wonder how she is going to milk.
Here is a better picture she don't look skinny this way. She is wider then she was when I dropped her off.

New Additions
Well we have new updates and we will have new pictures soon. We finally had another skunk duck I have sexed it and it is a female. Which means the skunk duck I have has a girl friend. We will have babies from skunky and skunket next spring. I will post pictures in the next couple days of our new additions.
Well Skunkette was taken from us by an owl last month. I have pictures of Skunky and he has turned out to be a very beautiful drake.
If he flaps his wings you really get to see the stripe down his back.
